Three Ways to Improve Your Air Travel Experience

Seeing different parts of the world is an exciting privilege, but in many cases, air travel can be the worst part of the travel experience. It doesn’t have to be this way! Use these tips and tricks to make the time you spend in the airport and on an airplane go smoothly.

Use a Shuttle Service

Navigating airport traffic can be stressful. For a cost-effective and reliable way to get from Galveston to Houston airport, or from your home to the airport from which your flight will leave, consider booking a shuttle service. A professional will handle the driving, and shuttles run throughout the day to accommodate your travel itinerary. If you choose to chat with your fellow travelers on the shuttle, you may even make some new friends.

Arrive Early

You never know how long the security line will be, or if there will be any other unexpected delays in getting to your gate. The best course of action is to get to the airport well in advance of your scheduled departure: two hours early if you are traveling within the country, and three hours early if you’re boarding an international flight.

Bring a Reusable Water Bottle

Since security protocol no longer allows travelers to bring drinks in their carry-on luggage, the easiest way to stay hydrated is to carry an empty reusable water bottle with you and fill it at a water fountain once you have cleared security. You’ll save the money and time that you would have spent purchasing a drink at an airport restaurant, and the bottle will probably be useful throughout your trip. Since the recycled air on planes can dry out your skin, it’s especially important to remain well hydrated as you travel.

By following these guidelines, you should be able to make your trip more relaxing and comfortable and less stressful. Have a safe and fun trip!
